You’re ready to place your bet, but suddenly the market is greyed out or you see a message saying “Betting Unavailable” — what’s going on?
Don't worry, this is usually temporary and quite normal during live or sensitive events. Here’s why it can happen:
Live Match Action
In live betting, odds are constantly moving. If there’s a dangerous attack, a penalty, or even a VAR check, betting may be paused so the system can update the odds fairly. It’ll usually reopen in seconds or minutes.
Odds Are Being Updated
Markets can temporarily lock when odds are changing. This ensures that no bets are placed on outdated information — especially in fast-paced matches.
Market Closure
Some markets (e.g. First Half goals) close once the relevant period is over. Once the event has passed, that specific market becomes unavailable for betting.
Technical Maintenance or Delays
Very occasionally, temporary issues with the provider or data feed may suspend betting. This is rare and often resolved quickly.
Suspicious Betting Patterns
If unusual activity is detected, a market may be paused or removed entirely to protect players and the integrity of the event.
What You Can Do
Try again in a few moments — betting usually resumes shortly.
Refresh the page or app.
Still blocked? Try a different market or sport.
If the issue persists longer than expected, feel free to contact Support — we’re happy to check things out for you.
Stay pawsitive — markets open and close all the time!
